My husband and I worked with Reliable Shutters and Screens to completely revamp our existing patio space. Our old enclosure was nearly impossible to keep clean because the entire roof was screened, and eventually we stopped using the space altogether. With Reliable’s help, we had a new survey completed that allowed us to more than double the size of our existing patio. Their team handled the demolition, extended the existing slab, and installed a new screen enclosure with a solid roof and wall. They were also able to engineer a high-peaked structure that another company had told us would be impossible. Even during periods of heavy rain, we have had no issues with leaks, and the structure itself feels extremely sturdy and well built. One of our favorite features is the back of the enclosure facing the lake and golf course. Reliable was able to install one large, uninterrupted section of screen so there are no beams or posts obstructing our view. It made a huge difference in the finished space. Once the enclosure was complete, my husband and I started discussing how we wanted to cover the existing stucco walls of the house, as well as the solid white wall Reliable was required to install due to building code. We found an interlocking panel system we liked and initially thought, “We can do this ourselves.” When our salesperson, Leo, stopped by for a final look, he mentioned that Reliable also offered this type of wall paneling. We were happy with the price they quoted and ultimately decided to have them handle this portion of the project as well. We are extremely happy that we did—and very grateful we didn’t have to tackle it ourselves! The finished walls look great and really helped complete the space. As with almost any large construction project, there were a couple of minor issues along the way. We had an issue with a few trim pieces, and Reliable made sure it was remedied in a timely manner while communicating with us every step of the way. The same was true when a small permitting issue came up. They had someone out the very next day to correct it so the project could continue moving forward. Having worked in the construction and interior design industries, I know that unexpected issues are sometimes inevitable. What matters is having a contractor who communicates with you, takes responsibility, and finds a solution quickly. Reliable absolutely did that for us. We would happily work with them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, professional installation. A very big thank you to Leo, who was always available to answer questions and address any concerns we had from start to finish. We now have a beautiful outdoor space that we will enjoy for many years to come. One final note: We chose to use our own contractors for the electrical and tile portions of the project because we had a very specific vision for those areas. Reliable worked seamlessly around their schedules and coordinated everything in a way that prevented unnecessary delays.
